Interesting Jo. Not my style until right at the last. You said wait for it so I did.

Thanks Jack. I just sort of liked it in a way, but I love the old original version best if I had to choose.

I love the song so I never heard a version that I didn’t like. Loved this one, super creative interpretation. I looked it up, the Bohm SE20 sells in the $15 - 20,000 range.

I liked the "guitar" voicing at the end. Nothing there I would buy (on say a CD). Not "organic" enough for me. Greensleeves is a great tune.

This was my introduction to Greensleeves as a teenager long ago, Greensleeves By Jeff Beck (1968)

"Original"? Which version is that?

I found: "'Greensleeves' is a traditional English folk song. A broadside ballad by the name "A Newe Northen Dittye of ye Ladye Greene Sleves" was registered by Richard Jones at the London Stationers' Company in September 1580, and the tune is found in several late 16th-century and early 17th-century sources, such as Ballet's MS Lute Book and Het Luitboek van Thysius, as well as various manuscripts preserved in the Seeley Historical Library in the University of Cambridge."

Thank you for posting this! I love that song and the blending of the new and old versions was for me wonderful. I loved them both.

Thanks for listening and commenting Joe. I love that song too and sort of liked that. I will never own a Bohm or a Chromatic keyboard, but love the sound of both.
