My son in-law is building an IHC 806 I believe he got it running last week and found he needs a much stronger multi disk clutch to be able to start of in high gear , something I didn't know they did.
A fellow I worked with pulled an 806 as well. Triple turbos in series with 100 pounds of boost forced him to install larger head bolts to keep it from blowing out head gaskets. Then it would blow the injectors clear out of the head so he had to put in much larger studs. Multiple disc clutch and to keep the weight down, most of the rear end was filled with spray foam so less oil was needed. He fueled it with diesel and ethanol. The alcohol helped cool the intake charge. That tractor would put on quite a show!
