Nice set, Beth! I was up there in July when the weather was pretty warm. Then in September, I rode the train out of Chama to Osier. The aspens were just turning golden.

Fond memories! My parents took us up the narrow gauge railroad back in 1972. It was a right of passage. Now that I'm retired, enjoy the drive from Houston to Colorado just to haunt the San Juan mountains. I'm spending time outside of Ridgway CO, at the Blue Lakes trailhead & mount Snefels.
Wow, amazing fall landscapes with a wonderful steam train transversing them; beautifully done, Beth.
Really nice. You got good colour, in spite of the rain. My favorite is the one going away.
Excellent photos! I have really enjoyed seeing these, as I have always wanted to take that train ride. Thanks for posting these.
I love this series, especially the sepia one. Thank you for sharing.

That is a fantastic series. I love the motor car that follows the train. We take a motorcar ride once a year at the Boone and Scenic Railroad here in Iowa.
Thanks, and the motorcar ride would be fun!

The scenery would be gorgeous in the sun.
It really pops, but I enjoyed the moodiness of the rain!
