Canon vs Nikon

I too started in the military. When in Korea, it seemed like every officer had a camera, so I as a new 2d Lt. bought a Voightlander thru the PX. Eventually (back in cililian life). I switched to a Canon digital and here I sit. Harry PS Can't remember why, just know that I did, mybe thru some Nikon film camera first.

I use both Nikon (D800) and Canon (1DS Mark 111) plus many of their lenses and other cameras, other makes and brands too - and grab whatever I need for the job.
Oh and I think I was much wiser as an executive in the Irish civil service in Dublin than fighting some crazy Asian war.

if you need a picture just use AI to make you one. you dont need a camera at all now.

The rot started when they supplanted film.....happily I still have my Bronica, Mamiya and Nikon F100 left with some film + darkroom.
