When I did film, I was a Nikon user. When I switched to digital I went with Canon, god probably knows why but I don't. Still shooting a Xanon, all these many years later. Harry
LOL I still have an F hiding in a drawer somewhere. Harry

It really doesn’t matter -it will up the ‘exposure to ad count’ and help to pay for this place.
If a picture is good, it must have came from a camera embossed with the letters C A N O N.

I have two N's and two C's in my house at the present time. I've given away approximately 1/2 dozen N's over the years. My son in-law sucks them up. I can't think of anything else at the moment. I hope this increases the ad count.
The surest way to corrupt a novice is to explain the importance of the other brand.
They should put these discussions in the Attic.

because their advertisers believe that eyeballs seeing ads translate into minds reading their ads.
There was a time when it may have been possible to claim that one, the other, or any camera make was better than the others. I think that now technology has advanced to a point, which makes such claims difficult or impossible. Camera makes are now very similar in quality and features. Differences are small. No point filling pages and pages with all sorts of claims. The best camera ever made is the one, which suits any one person better than all others, or the one a photographer is used to. Full disclosure: I have used Nikon cameras since the Ftn model in 1969, which I bought in Japan. Went through F3-F5, D1 (all of which I bought in Singapore) and D7200, and now have a D500 (the last two bought from B&H). At 91.5 I have no plans to change. I am far from being a good photographer, but enjoy photography anyway.

Not too many participants so far. The way to inflate the numbers is to say something disparaging about one or the other and insult those who use that one.
Paul you always make me chuckle and laugh.
