Wow! Crazy catch there.... The compression from that 75mm lens really shines here! LUV it - and the contrast tones!

Nice work, Linda! ...... Whooohoo!!

Love those lines, Linda, and black and white makes them pop!

By the way, Geometry was one of my favorite classes. I have always been interested in shapes figures, areas, volumes, etc. This is probably because I have always lived on a farm, and geometry plays a large part in farming.

I still don't care for geometry, but I really like your photos of it.

Thank you so much, John. It's very interesting to learn of the basis for your love of geometry. Thank you for sharing that with me!

Maybe a bit late to the conversation, but I Love this image. REally enjoy the geometric abstracts in this.

Look at the arrow on the right pointing to the rest of the story. The '3 element' approach with the tiled (shingled?)
roof - parts of the same texture and shades.
This makes you continue to look at the interplay of angles, textures and shade gradations. Which is what a good image encourages the viewer to do - keep looking and finding stuff. REally cool composition.

Unlike some of mine that I consider Compost-istions.

Ha ha, I plan to steal your pun, mindzye. It will get a lot of use

Many thanks for your detailed response. I'm delighted you enjoyed!

Very nice!! I really liked this photo in color but the B&W brings so much more to the table; there is so much more definition to the patterns and angles!!

This photo just keeps growing on me!!
