Looking (and snapping) at a storm over Oxfordshire yesterday.
Car was parked in a long passing space when a bloke in an E Mustang passed by, giving me a 'You some sort of a nutter' look. Then, when he saw what I saw, parked in the middle of the road and snapped his own.
This was taken on Britwell Hill, a named hill on the Chilterns escarpment. A low range of hills perhaps 120m / 400' above ground level of the Oxford Plain. And it just seems to hold back the worst of the storms.

Amazing capture. Light verses dark who will prevail?
Wow - that is a gorgeous image John!
Very dramatic scene, and you caught it very well.
Frequently lighting accompanying a storm is very interesting, as is yours. I enjoyed your image.
