I would find a duplicate model and cut em each in half. But, the cerf (width of the cutting blade) must be shifted by it's width from the center line so that I will have left n right halves which can be joined along that line resulting in a full-width joined model. Then obviously slip each half into the globe and join em. That will be another challenge perhaps a piece can be fastened inside the halves that will be easily aligned and glued together inside the globe,,,without getting glue inside the glass globe. Sounds like FUN!
