I thought this was funny. I've made a couple of 3" snow globes, and I thought I would make one with a 1:64 Honda Fit inside. The car would easily fit inside a 6" globe. One problem: although the globe is 6" in diameter, the opening is much smaller, and the 3" car wouldn't fit onto the 2" base. I'm not giving up on this, though. I can put the car inside and have it supported by something that lifts it to the center of the globe. This will be something like building a ship in a bottle.

Make a clear cone and mount it on that. It will look like the car they sent into space.

Good idea. With the snow/glitter inside, a cone could disappear.

It's not like building a boat in the basement because your problem is putting the car in the globe but building the boat in the basement you can bring the lumber down to the basement not too difficult but the real difficult it taking the boat out of the basement once it's built.

Okay, then. It's like the reverse of that. It's like storing you boat in the basement for the winter.

Talk with Gibbs. He's an expert at building boats in the basement.

He did manage to get it out of the basement a few episodes before he left the show but it was destroyed in that episode.

On one show, someone asked him about how he would get the boat out or maybe how he got the last boat out. Is that a second line of income for him? 🤣

Why a Honda Fit instead of a Ferrari?

Gibbs was pretty resourceful. And it helped when you have an entire set crew to help you do things. :)

Why? A Ferrari doesn't get good mileage, so I got a Fit. My son and friend have them, and I hope to make a snow globe for each.

I think it would be cool to have a Fit with an SI engine swap.
