IN the last couple of days, I posted a colored shot of what I called a potential deathtrap barn. I want to thank all of you who responded to that posting. Several of you expressed that you would like to see a B&W version. A lot of times I automatically go B&W with this genre of scenes. In this case, I was on the fence. If you don't mind, would you take another look and give me your opinion as to color or B&W. You can just say color or B&W. There is a high possibility that this shot will be included in a published periodical and I'd like to put my best foot forward. Thanks.
I'm including both versions below.
Color. Monochrome gives the illusion it’s probably already gone.

Thank you. That was also how I felt.
Hard to choose. I like both.

Thanks. It's a tough one for me as well.
Color gives the barn hope; B&W says that it is doomed.

Thank, Mike. I think my initial inclination is right.
I can go either way on this one Tom. I am usually a B&W guy for these types of images.

For what it's worth, I think your color one edges out B/W. A warmer feel and hence the hope Mike spoke to.
