Hello, Yes that was exactly the problem. I had a super EBC Fujinon Protector 49mm on their new 23mm lens and no adapter! I removed the filter and the camera worked perfectly. I will get an adapter and put back the filter and all will be good!

I use their tech number if I have an issue in the field (have it in my contacts on my cell phone),helped me out big time when I was having an EVF issue they're were very helpful. I also use their 1on1, 1/2 hour sessions when I have an in depth type of question, also very helpful.
