On her way down from raiding the bird feeder.
Nice capture! I can't take that shot any longer because I attached a squirrel cone on my pole about 4 feet up. It was fun watching them for a couple of weeks going up the pole, coming to the cone and hanging there motionless for a moment, then coming back down frustrated. They finally learned and quit trying. Now they just scowler the ground for seed droppings.

I think I am going to have to do the same thing. I took that shot last week. Today, one of them learned that he or she could pirate the whole suet cake that way.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you.
I had a problem with squirrels climbing up the pole and emptying my bird feeder. I found the solution. Attach a slinky around the pole and let it hang. When they get to the slinky, the slip down. Works great.
I also feed squirrels an ear of corn. I hang it on a rope from a tree. I attach a screw hook to the bottom of the rope and hang it about a foot and a half off the ground. Fun to watch them. They grab the ear of corn and nibble off a piece.
Rabbits also try to eat it but they aren't quite a smart as squirrels. They don't try to grab it, but just try to nibble a piece off. Unfortunately for them, the ear of corn bobs around and they don't get a bite.
