An arbiter decided that our Ontario nurses needed an 11% increase in wages over the next 2 years (extra $5 per hour). This was binding arbitration. Of course, Premier Ford is taking the decision to court, because he doesn't want the nurses to get this large of an increase, and he doesn't believe the arbitration was binding on HIS government.
If he doesn't allow the increase in wages, will he be prepared for the possible Industrial action that might happen, because of his stupidity?

Hello, everyone Iâm home from Stephenâs. Youâll be of no surprise that I didnât sleep bed. All my own fault. Just couldnât drop off. I think at home I fall asleep watching judge đ©ââïž Judy, and when Iâm ar Stephenâs Iâve not closed down. But they are so kind, all of them and wanted me to stay another day. I passed on that one. I love all of them.
When I did the journey home today, it was pelting down. And lights on and wipers going a itâs only about 32miles but that was enough for me. I came in and sat on my đȘ chair and didnât move for 15mins. I was exhausted đ hahaâŠ.. going to have something to eat now, Iâve got peckish.
Love. Yawl, stay safe and đ happy đ tomorrow is another day. Might do some jigsaws. Qi think I could be have a very early night !,,,,

I love charts. Seemed so much easier to me. Putting markers between pattern repeats makes it ALMOST mistake proof.
I find charts much easier, and liable to errors in print.

Been having a bit more sort of excitement than I thought. Knock on the door this morning and a man from the Water Company wanted to test our water so watched him, then we seem to have a nest of English Wasps in the guttering outside our front door. We had a torrential downpour and I think their nest must have got a bit flooded as they we all buzzing around the gutter, so have got our pest controller man coming tomorrow to see to them, that will pass a lot of time as he could talk for England. Not expecting anything else to happen today. xx

Good morning all from a cloudy Norfolk, supposed to rain all day today although it hasn't started yet, all of next week doesn't look much better, looks as though we had our Summer last month, glad I didn't blink and miss it. Sleeve is coming on apace, finished the increasing so now on the straight until I think it is long enough and then will have to leave it for measuring. Nothing else planned for the weekend so will sit, knit and watch the rain fall when it comes. Have a good weekend. xx
Hello. Your experience with the body of the sweater seems to be paying off on the sleeve. You might have to invite him over for a try on earlier than planned.

It is nasty when one cannot sleep through the night. Hoping you get a nap so you are chipper and cheerful for the rest of the day.

I have to have Golden Girls on to fall asleep. I have seen each episode 1,000 times. Keep looking for a new bedtime story but cannot find one. It use to be Mash but that doesn't work for me any more. Judge Judy would have we wide awake and screaming at the foul mouth witch.
Glad you made it home safe and almost sound. Rest as you need it is the advice I am always given.
Speaking of sleep I have not had much the last several nights. Harold was going down hill and on Thursday he had blood tests. Very early Friday a.m. I got an urgent text he needed to get to the hospital a.s.a.p. Our son picked up this sickly crabby insulting very sick man and got him to the hospital for treatment. Several hours later this sweet wonderful man called and said he was feeling much better after i.v.'s of a wonderful concoction that his body needed. They called in more experts and hopeful now found the cause of his body getting very low in this wonderful concoction. He will stay in hospital until they are sure that he will not suffer another crisis.
After talking with him again this a.m. I believe I will be able to rest a bit. Good night.

Trouble is he's away next week and his work takes him in the opposite direction to me so will have to wait. Have done a fair length of the sleeve so will have to leave that now, might start the second sleeve but running out of cords for my needles, so will go on to Amazon and see if I can get some more. xx
