I like OP/Tech products, and I'm thinking about getting a sling strap, and the OP/TECH USA Utility Strap-Sling looks good. I don't like the idea of supporting the camera (Nikon FF) by just one point, though, but that seems to be the standard procedure. For $28, it looks like a good deal. The OP/TECH USA Utility Sling Duo looks good, too.

The reviews look good, and I like the inter-connectability of the OP/TECH system. Any comments?

I use OP/TECH products and find them very comfortable and secure. I prefer the "Dual Harness." It can easily be configured to support two cameras, one left and one right; or one camera (left, right, or center). It is a two-point anchor system, one at each carry lug. I like having the tripod mount free.

I have paired the OP/TECH dual harness with the PEAK DESIGN Anchor links. I find this the easiest, fastest, safest disconnect system available.

I carry a D500 and D810, and sometimes one or two Bronica GS-1 (medium format) cameras without fear or fatigue.

I’ve been using them for years. I like them and recently purchased a second sling system for a new R7 plus upgraded my old strap by adding the sling system for it. They work fairly well.

I like the Peak Design Slide Strap (3 widths and prices depending on the weight of your gear). It attaches to the normal strap lugs on your camera instead of the tripod mount hole. It is also quick release leaving only small attachment straps to your camera if you want to remove it for any reason.

I have and love the Op/Tech straps for both of my cameras, but the ones that attach to tor gromets on each side with quick release connectors.

OP/TECH make two straps for carrying two cameras. I tried one, but I didn't like it, so I got other one. I can never remember which is which. Looking back, I believe I have the Dual Harness rather than the Double Sling.

Thanks, all! If I spend $22 more, I'll get free shipping from B&H.

I prefer one of the Black Rapid carrier slings. It not only goes over the shoulder, but has a strap that goes under the arm pit which makes sure that when you pick up the camera the sling does not rotate with it.

Sorry about the confusion.

I have used Op-Tech camera straps for 20+ years. There are multiple different designs for the main strap and multiple different connector straps. The wide thick neoprene neck main strap makes the camera weight more comfortable. I use connectors attached to the two strap lugs at the upper ends of the camera body, much safer than a single strap attached to the threaded tripod bushing on the camera bottom. The Op-Tech website shows all of the combinations.

Jerry. Not long ago i got an op tech one that attaches to both points on the sides. Not until using it did i realize it has a sideways piece right on top of the body. More often than not that piece keeps getting in the way of using top controls or quickly looking through the viewfinder. Am sorry i didnt keep the packaging or know the model name. Proceed carefully.
