That Minolta SRT 101 was an excellent camera in its day, very popular too. I think they had the first 70-210 zoom also back then.

Cheers

Back in the 1970s, I bought a Miranda Sensorex, and that was my sole camera (I think) until I bought the Nikon F Photomic. Today, I can't imagine having just one working camera. Do any of you have just one working camera?

I have 3 Canons (80D, 90D and SL2) and a Sony a6000. I shoot events and always take 2 cameras (one for backup). I was pleasantly surprised when I used the Sony for a pageant in a dark theater with a small speed light. It wasn’t a paid event and I didn’t feel like lugging a 90D or 80D.

One Camera Jerry, three lenses and an iPhone as a meager backup. Recent trip to the UK and Iceland, one OM-1 with the three small Oly lenses…really didn’t need any more and hardly ever used the iPhone…Cheers.

I have two cameras, both Sonys. The main camera is a99ii with both Minolta and Sony lenses. The travel camera is. When I get tired of changing lenses I use the RX10M4 with the 4X extended zoom lens.

I have only 1 camera and that is all I can shoot with at 1 time. The answer is the lenses. I have 4 of them and I find that they suffice for whatever I'm shooting; a Canon R6 with the EF 16-35 f4, RF 24-105 f4, RF 100-400 f5.6-, and the RF 600 f11. I have been extremely happy with the results.

I like to shoot pano's it gives more detail. You can always get rid of the details but recreating it is not all that easy. I shot this picture yesterday with my Z9 and a 24-70mm lens. I could have shot at 24mm and had the pano with 3 pictures but I shot it at 70mm holding the camera vertically shooting 8 frames with 30% overlap. Then Adobe Photoshop did the rest. I buy Nikons best equipment available so then I can only blame myself for not getting the picture. I zoomed in and copy the person standing there and expanded the image so you could a feel for what I am talking about. The face is less than an inch out of 101 inch pano. Unfortunately I am not able to upload the entire image I keep getting an error when trying to upload the entire pano. Also I was focused on the mountains not the people. Another update is the picture here is JPEG an saved it a 0 in Photoshop and still fairly good results. I own 4 Nikon cameras and the minimum I take out to shoot is 2 cameras.

I have VERY recently gone down to a single personal camera. I now only use a Sony a1 with 2 lenses (Tamron 20-40 f2.8, Tamron 35-150 f2-2.8) and a flash when I go anywhere and that’s it.

I use my D810, several lenses(most of the time a Nikon 24-120 F 4.0 zoom). When travelling I carry a D700 backup body in the suitcase in case the D810 malfunctions, but it has not. Have only had to replace battery over the years. I like the feel and weight of a DSLR.
