I try to get to most of the big parades here, because the spectators make very willing models. For the most part, they are willing to turn, to pose, to move to a slightly different area for a better background, etc..

I see you had many photo opportunities. I think I would have to pass on going to this event; some of those participants and observers are a little to intense for me. My favorite of this set is #5.

The wife and I went to a Broadway show this weekend and the one on the streets rivaled the one inside! We didn't attend the parade, but didn't need to. "Proud" folks everywhere. Some costumes were quite flamboyant, saw lots of flabby flesh.

Before the "Attic" types chime in, They were loud, but harmless and didn't bother anyone! Not my cup of tea, but it was entertaining and a typical NYC experience.
