A special night on Samish Bay

My wife treated us to a very special dinner on Father's Day. Chuckanut Manor if you're ever in the PNW is a spectacular restaurant.
Service, food and location are all top notch and this night was no exception.
We had a corner table on the deck and they even brought her a blanket as the breeze made it a little chilly.
#3 & #5 were from the parking lot, the rest from our table.
No, I didn't bring a tripod to dinner.....

Great shots, one of my most favorite places on the planet. Used to live on F Street in Bellingham, graduated in '65. Great area to grow up . Used to have keggers down at Clayton bay, long hike down there. Sure was lots of fun.

Thanks so much! It's always been one of my favorite places to be, on the water(or near it) on the many beaches and vistas from Anacortes to Blaine. Never a bad seat to watch a sunset! Can only imagine how fun it was to carry a full keg down that trail to Clayton! They're finishing up on a footbridge over the tracks right now!!
