The desert is settling into it's summer routine. Days are getting hotter and longer crepuscular activities are the order of the day. That means that I have to get up earlier to catch wildlife activity. Walking the desert becomes problematic after dark because of increased reptile activity and migrant problems since and since I no longer have someone to walk with.

Magnificent compositions 💙♦️💙♦️💙

Really nice, Jack. You might want to find a new companion as tough as that may be.

A nice varied set, Jack! I didn't know you would get Cardinals in Southern Arizona.

I admire your attitude concerning another dog. We just got a puppy and I will turn 70 before too long. She could very well outlive me. She howls like a Wolf when I leave her for even a few minutes. I hate to think of her if I check out permanently before she does!

Thanks Chief. Cardinals are year around residents in the Sonoran Desert but not near as common is in the east.

As bad as I want another dog it just wouldn't be fair.
