We humans must become alarmed when even only an inching of AI toward defining the social order occurs, whatever this order's makeup.

Any move toward self-replication by an AI entity must also alarm us humans.

Other issues regarding AI arise, too.

Any Rand was a genius and well ahead of her time. Sadly, the kids today could not understand Atlas Shrugged or even Albert Camus,’ Le Stranger. I guess we should all have a lesson or two from high school.

Full auto may choose a correct exposure but not necessarily an ideal exposure.

I loved Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead. Sadly most kids today would look at these works as too radical and too existentialistic.

Theres no "a correct" exposure ... only "THE correct" exposure, which isnt any different from the "ideal" exposure (no matter what Ayn Rand would have said about it).

Maybe you meant an "acceptable" or a "usable" exposure but those are hardly worth discussing as those are personal and highly subjective.

Well when someone said "A correct exposure but not the ideal exposure" I can say he/she is a triangle person. I read thru the entire triangle book and that's all it said.

I’m not quite sure how that post proved either of those things. I’m not saying he’s not, but that post proved nothing.

Any Rand? None of the Rands I know of are geniuses. And it doesn’t take that much brain power to understand Ayn Rand’s twisted version of “philosophy-lite”

Maybe Ayn is a step child of the Rand Corporation, an "all purpose think tank".

There is no one correct exposure. Exposure can be part of the creative aspect of photography.

"Rand advocated reason as the only means of acquiring knowledge; she rejected faith and religion." See more here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayn_Rand

In her writings, she also asserted that in this life we have only reason to guide us.

Mike Wallace, the newsman, did an interview with Any Rand: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHl2PqwRcY0

Any Rand? I’d think if it was an interview it would have to be a particular Rand.

Was this post done by an early version of A.I? You have your camera in an automatic mode with occasional use of fill flash when required. Have fun shooting in low light for landscapes, etc.
