I'm with nimbushopper, Best Corvette ever. I also think that color should never be on a Corvette.

Please read all the comments alberio, the majority don't like the new looks of the Vette's either. Thanks for commenting and viewing.

I suppose I’m just a Luddite but this design is just too visually cluttered. Too Star Warsy for my taste. I like smooth and sleek, and a shifter to grab hold of.

No shifter in this one Stan, looks like push buttons or little levers. You are in the majority when it comes to the looks of the car, not so much. Thanks for viewing and commenting.

The specs are probably accurate being this, the race car model, that shared it's small block flat plane crank engine ultimately with it's street version, the Z06. And, the Z06 is capable of those performance figures. Nice pics Don!

Thanks for the education Vince. I just thought that maybe there would be a little more HP out of a 6.2L V-8. Thanks for the nice comment.

Specs on it are good. Nice images, guess I would choose a different color

Thanks for the confirmation and the nice comment W9OD. If I was going to drop 100 Grand on a new car don't think it would be this color either.

I'm glad to learn that I'm not the only one who is not in favor of the design of the new mid-engine Vettes. It my opinion, the new bright blue color is the worst choice of all for this generation of Corvettes.

No, you are definitely in the majority FL Streetrodder. Please read the posts prior to yours, only a couple in favor of this design. Thanks for viewing and commenting.

there is no way that I could get in and out of one of these.

Come on Mike! You know that gravity works! To get in, just position your butt over the seat and let gravity do it's thing! To get out, just lean far enough out for a gravity assist again. It isn't pretty, and you might want to find a place where there's no one around to start laughing at you, but it IS do-able! LOL!!!!

No reflection on you Don. Great shots, but I think this car is ugly...the color combination...the whale tail (even though I'm sure it's functional)...the black wheels (look like they were painted by a little kid). I know this is going to draw the ire of many viewers, but I really dislike this Corvette, immensely. I'm not talking about performance. I know that it's a world-class car, finally, and best bang-for-the-buck and all that, but I'm talking about curb appeal, to me. Yuck!!!!

Wife and I drove Vettes from 1922 until recently. Eyes went South for me, knees for Wife. Last one was C6. I agree with your opinion on looks. It is truly world class in performance, somyou’ll just have toaccept that and move on.

Very nice shots of a gorgeous car.
I think this model is the best looking vette ever.
And I like it enough to counterbalance all the above majority! Lol!
Where I winter in Bonita Springs you can hardly count them all, there are definitely a lot of people that love this car.

Thanks much for the kind words Bruce. I shot this Vette at St. Armands Circle in Sarasota, Fl. There was a lot of negative views on this model by other posters but I am sure that you read some of them. You bucked the trend!

1962 maybe? I've got a Z4 and it's hard to exit and look good, but once I'm behind the wheel you can't wipe the smile off my face.
