But it takes a 2/3 majority in the House.
At this point, McCarthy needs every single v**e of his slim 4 v**e majority to pass bills, so the likelihood of ousting Santos before he goes to trial is slim to none, UNLESS he commits further crimes.
So the question is how far is too far for Santos to go down the rabbit hole he's already in before McCarthy would act to expel Santos from the House of Representatives?

Are you really this illiterate? That's not what was being said and I already know what the process is. You don't need to explain to me what the process is. The question was why didn't McCarthy remove him, McCarthy cannot just remove a member of Congress at will.

Gotta wonder why Santos' opponent didn't pick up on his lies. He must not have been very sharp himself. It was a Congressional race for goodness sake. That may be why McCarthy hasn't taken any action....let the constituents and parties back home straighten out this mess in the next e******n cycle. His v**e one way or the other doesn't mean that much. While slim, the Republicans still have a 9-10 v**e majority in the House.

Did any of us hear any of these lefties on here calling for Adam Schiff's ousting for his blatant lies about Trump colluding with Russia and that he had ample evidence that's what Trump did?
