If he hadn't lied, he never would have been elected.

Sounds a lot like trump!

Sounds a lot like Biden.

Why not? He could lie about it, couldn't he? Lying seems to have worked before.

Who? Red Wave George? You typed that with a straight face?

You were saying the same thing about Trump last month. Just look at him now. He's your king again.

There is no party of Republicans or conservatives anymore ... only deranged Q/MAGA J**6 patriot boys now.

Why don't you post the news about foreign money having been funneled to Biden. More independents and Democrats are now seeing the evidence. Bad news for Biden for 2024.

If no one supports Santos, why is he still in Congress? Why hasn't the speaker removed him?

Because that would require a general e******n to replace him and right now, the GOP doesn't have any viable candidates and they can't risk losing his seat... although, they COULD call Hershel Walker back and ask him to run again.

Are you really this dense? How can the Speaker remove someone from Congress?

A member of Congress can be removed by a 2/3 v**e. I'm sure all Democrats would v**e to remove Santos and McCarthy surely could find enough Republicans to make up the rest of the 2/3rds. At this point, however, he's still a Republican v**e. In all likelihood he would be replaced by a Democrat. He's been stripped of all committee assignments, so, he is, in essence, more of an embarrassment than anything. He has his own consequences to face. He's not the most embarrassing Representative to have held office. Not even in this session. There are a few on both sides of the aisle. He's just a stupid schmuck who fooled the e*****rate. So, how many others in office can that define? And I mean the highest office.

Yea but that was not my question, the Speaker of the House can’t just remove a member of Congress as FoolIsMyCat was suggesting.

I read his post. What he meant by the Speaker removing Santos is not by "decree," but by going through the procedure I mentioned. If McCarthy wanted it done, it would be done, I think that's his point, and he's right.

It's not a matter of supporting Santos, it's a matter of needing his v**e to pass their far right-wing bills.
