Early on, the U.S. adopted the legal code of Great Britain -- a code usually referred to as "common law." The U.S. of course established itself with the form of democratic political order known as representative government.

Which royalty are you referring, British Royalty? If so, how so? Or, are you saying ALL royalty is suppressive? Are you referring to royalty of past centuries or royalty of the 21st century?
