Fed-Ex vs UPS

I have an idea. We have many sub forums. Like BIRDS and BIRDS IN FLIGHT. Why not a COMPLAINT forum. We could title it, WAH WAH, or, I DIDN'T GET WHAT I WANTED WAH WAH, or I CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT SO I WANT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT IT, or THE COMPANY IS WRONG AND I'M RIGHT WHA WHA, or my favorite, I CAN'T FIND MY BIG BOY PANTS, DO YOU KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND THEM, WHA WHA.

In my are FedEx has always sucked but ups has been much better except when they ran into my yard after a large rain storm and left a big run in the grass.i called in and they sent a guy( looked the supervisor's dad or something) who filled up the rut and did a great job.

I my world,(area) they both are good.
It's a sign of the times, I am so happy that I am no longer in business. Businesses hire what ever they can find to show up.
I am very tired of the new generation, they have not been taught that a job is a gift.

Sometimes there are so many funny comments/barbs/sarcasms, it is better than some of the photography related ones. Threads like this one, give me a few smiles and even chuckles. Keep it up folks.

My post was written in the GENERAL CHIT CHAT (NON-PHOTOGRAPHY TALK) Mr. billnikon has trouble seeing that.
I read through my post carefully again to see if by me telling my experience offended any one or even came close to looking like dirty under ware to any pore unfortunate soul. All my post said was the facts that I had with a delivery service. By the way I don't know about some of you out there but when I spend $150.00 to $450.00 for something and pay for shipping cost on top of that I expect it to be delivered like they promised. Again I wasn't out to talk trash about anybody or start lies I was just expressing what I feel is poor service on this web-sight. I have a right to share my experience as much as any one else does in this USA. If that offends you then,, well as Rhett Butler said it in Gone With The Wind,, (Frankly, my dear I don't give a damn.)

Stop it already. Every week or two somebody complains about UPS or FedEx or the USPS. They deliver millions of packages and pieces of mail annually and yes, sometimes mistakes are made. To listen to some of you you would think they were singling you out. I have sent more than 2,000 items I sold on eBay, all of them USPS. None has gone missing. Late once or twice yes. I have never had an item I bought, delivered by the three carriers, go astray. Probably 1,000 items. I expect I am the rule not the exception. Find something real to complain about—like our Congress.

But for some people, all it takes is once or twice. No allowance for abnormal circumstances, whatever they may be.

All companies have individuals who just do the work they have to but never beyond the call of duty.i would always give out my card with company phone # plus I would give out my personal cell # in case someone had a problem with their phone.i got a call at 12:30 am so I picked it up.it was a customer I had fixed his phone that afternoon.he mentioned that his phone wasn't working and that I had told him if his phone went out he was to call me.i asked if he knew what time it was.he replied 12:30am.i told him that I was on my 5th beer and did he think I was going to get dressed, drive to my work location,get in my work truck,and come by and fix his phone at this ungodly hour of the night.he paused for a second and then I heard a Yes.i told him I would be there at 10am which I did and the ptlroblem was he had shorted his wire which would be $129 charge.he appoalogized deeply.i showed him how to fix his problem and told him never to call me again.no charge.

Ha! that's a good one, thanks for sharing it. If you are anything like me and I was on my 5th beer at 12:30 AM you wouldn't want me working on anything of yours. Thanks
