Just bought a Panasonic lumix zs200 does anyone know about BM 2-Pack of DMW-BLG10 Batteries and Charger for Panasonic Lumix DC-zs200. Price is quite a bit lower than buying a Panasonic battery and charger
Thanks

The camera didn't come with battery and charger?

Maybe the batteries come with a charger by default... a package.

For what it’s worth I bought a couple BM batteries for my Canon R5. The capacity is the lowest of all the other off-brand batteries I have. One time I got an on-camera error message telling me the batteries weren’t compatible. I have continued to use them knowing they won’t last. I would beware if I were you and look for another off-brand if you want to save the dough.

I think you get what you pay for. I will only use Nikon batteries for my D5300. Same for my Canon Powershot G-15-- the off brands just don't hold up, so it's Canon batteries for that one, too.

I got Wasabi brand for my Lumix cameras. No issues. I got them from Amazon years ago. Here is their ad for a 3 pack:
https://www.amazon.com/Wasabi-Power-Panasonic-DMW-BLG10-DMC-LX100/dp/B09G59PW8N/ref=sr_1_8?crid=3FGY0SGE0RTJK&keywords=wasabi+batteries+%26+charger+for+panasonic+zs200&qid=1682874344&sprefix=wasabi+batteries+%26+charger+for+pabnasonic+zs200%2Caps%2C95&sr=8-8

I've had good results with Kastar and YXwin batteries for my Sony bodies, and less good with Wasabi, so I suspect the model has as much to do with quality of replacement batteries as the manufacturer.

I got a three pack with charger by Wasabi. The charger was much flimsier than others, and one battery wouldn't take a charge at all. I know other members here have had a good experience using the same brand.

All from Amazon, so my recommendation is to look at the ratings and try one out. They are cheap enough to experiment, and when you find one to your liking the savings over OEM batteries are worth it. BM seems to have a good rating for this model.

I would also note that the two-port chargers take longer to reach full charge with two batteries than does a single port charger with one battery, but I find the two-port style more convenient overall.

I bought Wasabi batteries for my Panasonic Lumix LX10, more than a few years ago. I bought them more for the charger they came with, as Panasonic didn't provide one. All are holding up well, even though the camera stays in my car 24/7.

How many have you seen? What brand batteries?

There are good and bad brands out there.

I bought my Nikon D4s when they were first available. B&H included a Watson battery. I use those large batteries in three cameras these days. The Watson is still holding up just like the Nikon batteries.

Good luck? Maybe!

My ‘Kastar’ batteries have worked as well as the OEM ones did; not so much with my ‘Wasabi’ battery.

My Pentax MILC uses a battery common to many cameras, so I’ve used a variety with little noticeable differences, but I did have a ‘BM’ battery to fail soon ……. the other keeps working. They may purchase ‘marginal’ cells.
