In addition to flexing the 100 - 400mm lens, I used the next semi-clear day to work with my new toy - Sony 600 f/4. I acquired this lens used through the good efforts of J-SPEIGHT (Jack) and it looks like I will have fun with it. I did not use any tc, but did use a monopod to get an idea of the lens' capabilities.

This first set is of the birds walking around the banks of our local lake.

Tc; the chemical element technetium
Tc; Total Cholesterol
Tc; Twin cities

tc = teleconverter - an abbreviation often used in this site. They increase the lens' magnification and usually come in 1.4 and 2.0 configurations.

Ah, ok thanks. I guess google does not read UHH as much as I do.
My brain is not always capable of remembering all of the abbreviations that are taken for granted.
