Drifting on a slow boat
in China.
Getting
to China was on a much faster boat. . . .
Hello and thanks for the slow boat to China. I have gone there 6 times and always enjoyed myself. Where did you take the photo that you've posted??? Maybe I've been there as I have gone to probably more than 45 cities all over China. If you'd like to chat let me know where to reach you.

That's a wonderful photo. Chinese version of Venice.

Hello David,
Thanks for your interest. The photo was taken in the city of
Suzhou roughly 120 miles inland from Shanghai. The place is a fascinating and perhaps the most prosperous cultural center in all of mainland China and also one of a dozen or so other famous so called “water towns” in the greater vicinity.
All of them are veritable Tourist Meccas and my wife and I have visited specifically two of them, the second being the historic city of
Zhujiajiao. We liked both places so much that we visited them twice on our repeated China adventures.
I well understand your enjoyment of exploring China. It's a truly fascinating country, especially the ancient side of it, and I don’t blame you for going back 6 times. . . .
