You didn’t upset me, and you can take it as either complaining of facts - actually both. Like Jerry, I am stuck with Spectrum. Their reliability is good and performance meets specs, but their tech support is ridiculous (I could write an entire thread on that) and their price/performance compared to Google and other providers is poor. Now that would be OK if there was a choice, but there isn’t. Prior to Spectrum purchasing TWC, TWC had a complete monopoly on both cable and internet in my city, which was protected by our city government. Spectrum has continued that, but now they have competition in some places - unfortunately not where I live. I’m even OK with that, but ever since they took over from TWC, there have been constant price increases to the extent that before I dropped the cable portion, my monthly bill was $258 with a single premium channel. Now to put that in perspective, that was $100 more than my electric bill. I and the majority of ISP subscribers in my city are held hostage until 5G or Google Fibre expands, and when they do, I’ll be gone in a second - fleeced by Spectrum way too long.
