Another "topping" I heard of was MASHED POTATOES!
UGH!!
I like Hawaiian pizza, and I assume others also like pineapple on their pizza since most pizza places have it despite all the vocal anti-pineapple pizza people. Round Table Pizza has a deluxe Hawaiian pizza with additional toppings besides pineapple and ham which I like. I doubt God is interested in what toppings people have on their pizza.

I don't mean how much. I mean how do you like it prepared? I like a regular cheese pizza. The local place used to do a sesame seed crust, but they stopped that. Sometimes, we'll get it with sausage, but I'm a purist. If I was forced to eat a pepperoni pizza, I'd remove all the pepperoni.
You and me both Jerry, I too like a normal cheese pizza, and NO sesame crust . Pepperoni is so highly touted...Bleahhh! You like sausage, we tend to go with mushrooms.
If you are in Vegas at the treasure island don't eat the pizza.we were there in September and didn't want to go out anywhere so I decide to get pizza there.it tasted like cardboard with pepperoni on it.our favorite is hand tossed with light sauce, extra cheese, pepperoni, hamburger, bacon, and ham.
I like mine with sausage and mushrooms, thick crust.

Never tried mashed but fried sliced potatoes with some herbs are just fine.
Basically, anything I like to eat goes just fine on a pizza.

European wheat non-GMO crust
Red sauce with olive oil drizzle
Italian four cheese blend (Romano, Pecorino, Mozzarella, Parmesan)
If I'm being bad, I add Italian sausage with lots of fennel, and/or bits of steak.
Black olive slices
Banana peppers
Tomato slices
Baby spinach
Fresh mushroom slices (baby Bella or a blend)
Artichoke quarters, halved
Sliced garlic
Fresh basil leaves
Oregano and red pepper flakes

Try a mustard sauce, Sauerkraut, kielbasa sausage, with Swiss cheese on top. Good German Pizza.

I think I'll skip that combo on a pizza, sound good on a plate, BTW isn't kielbasa Polish?

The Germans have always had ...sticky fingers.

Pineapple pizza seems to be a West Coast thing. Doesn't make you a bad person.
It's what makes the world go round

How thick is that pizza.
As in photography and the rest of life, "It depends...".
Probably 3/4 inch at max. Usually less.

My wife and I have been making pizza for over 40 years, experimenting and learning. Last year I built a basic pizza oven from inexpensive materials...all dry stacked concrete products. After a few bakes, we got the process down. Regardless of baking method though, the secret to a great crust is making the dough with double zero flour.
I'm going to give your style oven a go! My cheapie is too temperamental for consistent results.
Two years ago I went down the homemade dough and sauce rabbit hole. I came out the other end with the hard earned knowledge that cutting the pie with square corners is crucial!!
