The folks are carrying on this nonsense for the better part of 10 pages, they should be ashamed of themselves. I don't know how or why the administration, whoever he is or they are, is tolerating this kind of behavior. I don't know, not being a psychologist, what is wrong with these people. Is it mental disease, substance addictions, or dementia, or perhaps it is not that complex? Just folks who have no manners, and no respect for others who are attempting to ask legitimate questions or provide useful, helpful, valid, and sincere answers without, sarcasm, condescending, and outright STUPID remarks.

I am not a teenager or a young person who spends mostof his life on a computer screen so I refrain from using someof their lingo. I won't call these folks "trolls" who are actually creatures of folklore. However, here is the "official Internet description. Looks like they are a perfect description of these "members":
Trolling is distinct from other forms of cyberbullying or harassment. It is normally not targeted towards any one person and relies on other people paying attention and becoming provoked. Trolling exists on many online platforms, from small private group chats to the biggest social media websites. Here’s a list of places online where you’re likely to see online trolls:

Anonymous online forums: Places like Reddit, 4chan, and other anonymous message boards are prime real estate for online trolls. Because there’s no way of tracing who someone is, trolls can post very inflammatory content without repercussion. This is especially true if the forum has lax or inactive moderation.
Twitter: Twitter also has the option to be anonymous, and has become a hotbed for internet trolls. Frequent Twitter trolling methods involve hijacking popular hashtags and mentioning popular Twitter personalities to gain attention from their followers.
Comment sections: The comment sections of places such as YouTube and news websites are also popular areas for trolls to feed. You’ll find a lot of obvious trolling here, and they frequently generate a lot of responses from angry readers or viewers.
You’ll find trolls anywhere online, including on Facebook and on online dating sites. They’re unfortunately pretty common.

Signs Someone Is Trolling
It can sometimes become difficult to tell the difference between a troll and someone who just genuinely wants to argue about a topic. However, here are a few tell-tale signs that someone is actively trolling.

Off-topic remarks: Completely going off-topic from the subject at hand. This is done to annoy and disrupt other posters.
Refusal to acknowledge evidence: Even when presented with hard, cold facts, they ignore this and pretend like they never saw it.
Dismissive, condescending tone: An early indicator of a troll was that they would ask an angry responder, “Why you mad, bro?” This is a method done to provoke someone even more, as a way of dismissing their argument altogether.

Use of unrelated images or memes: They reply to others with memes, images, and gifs. This is especially true if done in response to a very long text post.

Seeming obliviousness: They seem oblivious that most people are in disagreement with them. Also, trolls rarely get mad or provoked.

The list above is by no means definitive. There are a lot of other ways to identify that someone is trolling. Generally, if someone seems disingenuous, uninterested in a real discussion, and provocative on purpose, they’re likely an internet troll.

User id is an example of a person making stuff up and fighting nonstop. I won't allow his falsehood to continue. I've reported him continously and nothing happens.
His latest is demanding $50,000 from me is a criminal extortion and admin does nothing.
I'm sure I'll get suspended before him

The generally accepted traditional Internet unwritten law is "Don't Feed the Trolls". The more you fight with them, the more they enjoy the challenge and the more they persist!

Just for the record, I am just a regular member of this forum and not any special privileged personality. I have no authority to delete anything, bad anyone, or suspend anyone's membership. I volunteer in a few special sections and because they are not heavily trafficked, there's usually peace and good-quality discussions.

I am complaining, publically, because I enjoy participating in this forum but resent the disruption that these so-called "firefights" and ongoing childishness cause. Imagine a newcomer asking a simple and valid question and having to put up with all this unmitigated nonsense. This is a PUBLIC forum! I have Googled various inquiries and oftentimes have been linked to various forums and funny enough, end up right back on this one. Again imagine, a novice person ending up here in the midst of this thread and feeling they have landed in the CUKOO'S NEST!

Perhas I am wrong and s the majority of fols in this forum like this combative craziness. If not, they should ALL complain to the admin, and MAYBE he, them, or whoever will do something about it. OR MAYBE, if everyone simply ignored and NEVER responds to the offenders, they might either reform or go away by all by themselves.

This forum should be open to different ideas and contradictory opinions before the name calling
It seems lately if you offer a different opinion insults fly.
I like differing opinions that expose me to differing thoughts and knowledge that i was .never been exposed too
Prime example is the protective filter or not. I live 3 miles from theocean and shoot near ocean, or rivers so exposed to salt air all the time. Coatings on the lens couldn't possibly hold up with constant cleaning from salt.
I'll replace a filter as needed.
I can see the other side also, in why add another piece of glass. I grew up with film and need for UV filters. Moving near the salt water made me keep it on. I never thought people would not have a filter. So I learned something .

The thing with trolling is that some people just need to be trolled. Try not being one of them.
As for your sunrise photo. It does look like it was shot through a dirty window. There are several areas that are murky and dull. The left hand side is either covered in dust or there’s an awful lot of noise. SOOC doesn’t mean anything. It’s still over saturated so there is banding in the sky. And there is nothing about that photo that is evidence of any knowledge of either photography or astronomy. As a matter of fact it wouldn’t take much photography knowledge to shoot that horizontal without losing part of it. And normal common sense would make you at least rotate it before posting.
