Kodak Brownie Hawkeye box camera for me. Needed it because I foolishly volunteered to take some pictures for the grade schools (very rudimentary) year book. Of course I though of myself as a photographer because my dad and two uncles were amazing photographers... - 70 years later I'm still very happy I fell in love with making pictures.
Do you have any pictures from that camera?

Wow- probably. I would have to dig deep - really deep. But it might be fun!

I used that Baby Brownie Special for 4 years and 3 locations in USAF. At my 4th location I bought a Petri 7s 35mm rangefinder camera and switched to using it.

Went from the Hawkeye to a Hanimex Practika with a 50mm lens which lasted me years - until the Pentax Spotmatic came into my life. The list after that gets long and varied.

My first camera was a Kodak Baby Brownie Special that used size 127 film. I bought it in the little BX at my first USAF assignment (Mt. Hebo AFS, Oregon), a radar site on a coastal mountain in Oregon. This may be the first photo made with that camera -- it is dated by name as being made only a couple of months after my Feb 1960 arrival at the site:

Yep, 85 is pretty old. I still get around, though. I was 22 when I took that picture, which was from a fire tower adjacent to the radar site.

What what your first picture that got you hooked on phototgraphy? My first picture that got me hooked was taken with a Nikon point and shoot bridge camera. i can remember trying to get the picture and failing then having a brain wave to go get a piece of card board from the house and the following picture is the result, the cardboard went behind the robber flies while i got the picture

I don’t remember what my first picture was, but I started with a Kodak Instamatic when I was in the Navy in the 1960s.
You and I began photography about the same time. Mine was at a mountaintop radar station (USAF) with a Kodak Baby Brownie Special (First shot posted earlier).
