Cool, so you are familiar with the area. The fire jumped around a lot destroying one property and totally sparing one nextdoor. I had a friend at the time who lived in Altadena and their back fence burned but nothing else on their property. Yes, the new Nature Center is nice and far more functional than the old one. Though the resident ill animals that lived in the center got burnt up and the original nature center library burned up too.
