I do usually us a cord but was insetting another card to take some pics for a friend.

Don't do much internet interaction with other people other than personal friends. But I gotta say, some people on this website are truly upscale tough and no nonsense. (See CH_Canon and fredpnm replies to the initial question)

Wait until the camera is returned and then make your first post saying, my camera broke. I sent it in for repair and it was repaired. Nothing else need be mentioned. That would have covered everything.

Hmmm, my usual reply, you say. I can't think of another poster who has done what the OP has done. You also forget I am not the only member who has sort of chided the OP for his post. Yet you insist on attacking me with a negative comment when I was posting something humorous. Why me, why not attack the at least one other person who has said a similar comment? Is there something hidden there, some dislike for me personally. Of course, not that I give a damn. But you point out nothing of any interest and is rather a boring comment on its own, is it not? Why would you even make a comment? Does the OP not have the ability to speak for himself?

That 350 may just be shown as an unseen estimate. I sent a camera to Nikon a few months back and they estimated the same 350.00. When I got the camera back they had only charged 165.00. It may be eventually your cost of repair will be less, and possibly more -- but hopefully not.
