Green Lore around the eyes and the skirt show this Great Egret is ready to mate. Male and females get identical plumage. This marks the beginning of the mating season at Wakodahatchee. It will go until May.
Green Cay also is showing two Pied-Billed Grebe chicks. Exciting times for sure.
