Thank you all for your responses. We shot this morning with reasonable success. Shooting lake apopka tomorrow. I’ll post some next week when I get home.

Oh, yeah! I forgot that one.
That's actually a more common occurrence than many people realize. Fortunately when using a shotgun for game bird hunting, the bird shot is pretty small. Reduced range, less velocity, less damage. Not so much when waterfowl hunting. Larger, heavier shot. More range, more velocity. More dangerous!
