Looking for suggestions on where to get shots of the Las Vegas Strip at night.
One suggestion not necessarily a night shooting session is the museum of all the old, out of use Las Vegas neon signs. My daughter and her family loved their tour of it.

Drive in the garage at the Mirage and go up to the top. You have a good view of some hotels and the Trump tower. I shot models up there at night. But choose a night that is not windy!
If you have a car, try to drive up to the Lindo Michoacan rersturaunt on Carnegie Ave. in Henderson. Great view of the strip but you'll need a tripod and zoom.
Otherwise, many good suggestions for closeup stuff here.
Forgot, the iconic "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign is at 5100 LV Blvd South.
Thanks and sorry, that was supposed to be car not cat. Cat wouldn't get. you very far.

Just found out I got the OK to attend a training seminar just outside of Las Vegas. Our hotel is a couple of blocks off the Strip and I want to try and get some shots of the Strip at night. Can anyone suggest locations to get shots that would include some of the iconic hotel signs and attractions? Thanks.
In addition to locations, Jared Polin has a great video on Long Exposure shots in LV; normally way outside his comfort zone. He is shooting the Statue of Liberty outside New York, New York; both beneath and across the road with traffic light trails. Extremely informativeand and well worth 25 minutes of anboody's time

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4XyOwRtEocJsykes, here is my long exposure shot with that Statue of Liberty (left) along Las Vegas Blvd. Shot through the window of my room at Excalibur Hotel & Resort.
Sony A7RIV, Sigma Art 24-70mm f2.8 DG DN lens and K&F VND/CPL filter. 24mm, ISO 50, f8, 180 seconds exposure (three minutes) on a travel tripod.
The CPL took care of the window reflections as I was shooting through my room window. The VND allowed me to have the long enough exposure, three minutes, to capture the car headlight and taillight trails.

Cheers and best to you, and have a great trip.

Great shot. BTW first time in LV was in 1997, we stayed at MGM that had just opened.
