Excellent photo - Belongs on your wall
I've done still life ONCE. What could be easier? Your subject is going to get away, it just sits there. You can mess with focus until it is absolutely tack sharp perfect. Just a snap, actually a waste of a good photographers time, right? HA A thousand questions all at the same time. Maybe it I move them closer that would be better. Should the cigar be pointed the other way. Do I really like the background? Maybe I should move the light to the other side and on and on and on. Finally you just take the shot to get onto something else. I will never attempt it again to frustrating and I don't have the patience. That's why I like wild life, take the shot quick or loss the whole thing.
Excellent shot - The balance and composition are perfect On your wall it goes

Rob, Thank you appreciate your comments. Here is the info about the whiskey it is fascinating. I tried to find the cigar no luck but is not a Cuban most of the time I get the less expensive for photos. All the Best!

Three days? Did you start with the same bottle a cigar?…. Doesn’t matter. My cardiologist says if I did those things I would be modeling for the bottle label.🤓

Cigars are an acquired taste - kind of like Speyside Scotch.

Maybe you should stick with photographing the cigars.
