Hi all,
Does anyone here mints their NFT’s. I am curious what platform you are using.
Thank you, K

I know what an NFT is although I really do not comprehend why anyone would want to buy one. However, what does it mean to "Mint" a NFT? Never mind, I will just Google it.

Well, the result that I received from my query was this: "Minting an NFT, or non-fungible token, is publishing a unique digital asset on a blockchain so that it can be bought, sold, and traded" That really clarifies things. Now I will have to look up "Blockchain". I guess I am too old fashioned. I'm still pondering why we were so excited about pet rocks and mood rings. They were equally worthless in my opinion so I guess this generation needs it's own questionable things to waste their money on.

If we're talking about things like bitcoin, my impression was that in order to "mint" (although I think the common term in "mine") a bitcoin in your lifetime you basically needed a server farm next to a power plant. You do NOT do it on the Dell computer in your basement.

From a Googlel search: artwork, photographs, and animations can be converted into an NFT and sold online. The NFT is shaking up the art world. https://expertphotography.com/nft-photography/
