I would second this suggestion - especially for someone who appreciates black and white photography. It appears to be a little off your route, but it would probably be worth it. If the swamp tours offered on this website link are anything like the one I took at Fakahatchee Strand it would be even more awesome.

thanks for all the replies there are a few that I will be visiting on these suggestions. Looking more like this will be a first trip, we will drive the next time. Hope we can get a bit familiar with the area so that the next time we can better enjoy all the area has to offer.
