Abe's is not a recommended dealer. I would not hold my breath waiting for a call back. The further issue is that they may not be a Fuji authorized dealer and as a result it is not clear whether Fuji will honor your warranty if repairs are required. In any case you should be dealing directly with Fuji and not a retailer when you are having technical issues.

I certainly don’t do it often, but I agree with Terry, dispute the charge. I have had great luck with that process. When you send it back, make sure you have proof of return and can document your attempts to work with the vendor so the credit card company can see you have made every attempt to rectify the situation.

Don't just send camera back w/o a return authorization.
I tried that with Adorama and they said they would just throw package away. Afraid of suspicious package.

In 1979 they probably were one of the reliable retailers. Sometime after that the business was sold and they are now a fly-by-night operation.
They just haven't updated their website.

Abe's used to be a reputable business, however they sold their name/business years ago and are no longer a place where you want to shop, at least for camera equipment.

To say the very least, the place has a most terrible "Buyer Beware" reputation --
So take the common advice & Stay Away!!
However: I purchased two Canon Cameras from them -- 5D2 back in 2010 & a 5Ds in 2017/2018 --
Both were brand new; both came in a sealed box with their full US warranty, and both were marked down $500.00 off anyone else's at that time selling price.
Still have both & they still both operate just fine !!!!!

I wonder if experiences are different if shopping there in person. Never bought from them online, never will. As there are WAY too many bad experiences. But I do wonder if you can come through the door and, ahem, "get their attention" if it would be any better.
