Deals or not?

My wife and I went looking at 2nd hand stores to see what we could find. She went one way I went another. Guess what … at one place I found a Manfrotto O55x prob tripod for only 19.99.
The other place I went to I located a complete studio setup (3 black and white studio umbrellas,3 light stands and lights plus another Manfrotto mkc3 -H01 contained in a bag, all for 129.99.
Since I’m a wildlife shooter and enjoy my present equipment you might say I am nuts but I passed on both of these items. I couldn’t find another DSLR today.
Did I screw up or what?

I love deals like that - I buy them and then give them to the local community college photography instructor to give to a deserving student that cannot afford equipment.
