Trump deserves most of the blame for the sorry state of the Republican Party, but there are also many others at fault. Too many Republican leaders were far too happy to ride Trump’s coat tails to win e******ns when he was taking them to the edge of the cliff to the right. Their party now is in an alliance with w***e s*********ts, Christian nationalists, Q conspiracy crazies, etc. They can't condemn these despicable people because they need their v**es. The Republican Party has been moving in this extremist direction for several decades, but Trump just ramped it up to a whole new level.

Do you really not think that a******n played a big role in this last e******n? Really? You just think it was a poor job done by the republicans?

Total BS. The party is not aligned with any of those groups. I have to laugh, the same democrat party that calls republicans extreme has itself become so extreme they are working on providing elementary school aged children g****r t***sitioning drugs and puberty blockers without parental approval or even knowledge of such actions taken through school guidance authority and medical institutions which of course profit from such disturbing practices..... You people call us extreme, all your side does is continuously divide this country which only leads to more and more violence..... When you turn on your TV's and see the violence, from the smash and grabs to the car jackings, to the shoot outs in the streets, who do you see committing those crimes? White Nationalists, Rightwing Extremists? Q***n folks? Or do you see the people incited to violence because of their perceptions of inequity and socially justified privilege because of the so called inequities that Liberal America continues to use as a political wedge while doing little to nothing to fix the problem, if anything their efforts insure that those problems will never be adequately addressed.

The republicans lost ( or drastically under performed ) because they put forth no plan other than “ Biden bad”.

LOL.... You still lost the House and there is not much the Senate can do without the House.... 2024 the demographics are stacked against the Democrats in the Senate just as 2022 was stacked against the Republicans as far as how many seats each party will have to defend. Hopefully by then the a******n issue will have found some resolution, the SOCTUS ruling was a correct ruling in as far as constitutional law is concerned, maybe not so acceptable to the v****g public but as far as law goes it was correct, but I am sure that matters little to a liberal.

Not so, there was a plan, close the border, loosen regulations on the oil industry, stop this Green New Deal that the government is so set on using to "t***sform" America, fund and support the police, take measures to address rampant and growing crime in this country......

Unfortunately the a******n issue combined with the rule of establishment republicans like McConnell and others worked against the Republican Party. One can only hope that the McConnells, Romneys, and the rest of their ilk are shown the door in future e******ns.

Baloney.
The only one of those you listed that had any degree of. Merit beyond die hard Republican v**ers was The border. And even then they had no plan. “ close the border “ is nothing more than the politicians version of “ solving world hunger “. A wish but not a plan.

Loosen regulation on oil is pure bull. And has no merit. The American people know that .

The green new deal again has no merit as the republicans again have no plan . The world and America is moving on away from f****l f**ls. Time to stop living in the past.

Fund police. Who stopped ?

Hollow positions but not plans that Americans wanted to hear ,. Instead they heard H****r , and Biden bad.

And they lost !!!!

Added.
Democrats often propose. Issue I dislike but one democrat had it right “ it’s the economy stupid .” Right in 92,and right now.

I can advocate anything I want. If the Constitution will not be enforced as intended by the Founders, then it already has one foot in the grave and that is on you and the criminal enterprise called the Democrat party.
Those "old soldiers" you are so derisive of, did the hard work needed by this country at a time of great upheaval. Just WTF have you done?

How do you know what the authors "intended"? It was 1789 and life here was not what we have today. S***ery was legal, women couldn't v**e, men who didn't own land, couldn't v**e, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. These were a bunch of well-intended, fairly intelligent men who met in Philadelphia to try to get all these thoughts on paper, but in the end, they had no idea what the world would be like 200 years later.
Stop trying to canonize them. They were men and sometimes they were right, and sometimes they were wrong.

Typical liberal atomizing clap-trap.
Fairly intelligent? The brought forth the most unique foundation for a nation in the history of the world.
You don't have one iota of their foresight.
In fact they knew people like you would bubble up from the sime eventually. Which is a consistent attribute of Deconstructionists like yourself.

Well said !!
The founders knew progress would be made and things would change . That’s why they included the amendment process.
People that believe they can read the minds of the founders are delusional .

Have you never heard of the Federalist/Anti-Federalist papers, have you ever read the writings of the period and of the founders themselves? Have you ever read the congressional debates that surrounded legislation and or Constitutional Amendments?

There are ways to discern intent.
