I wear progressive lenses now and the prescription has been getting stronger and stronger, and rediculously stronger for the past few years as the changes to my eyes are starting to really kick in and now I'm at the at the point that reading from a book is even a challenge since the distance to the page is different between the middle of the page and the edges. I remember when I was young and looking through a telescope at night at the stars and how they were nice pinpoints of light. Not anymore. Now they are just blobs of light. I am leaning towards both eyes for distance so that I can see those stars clearly again.
