I like Black Friday shopping online. It starts about a week ahead of time.

THAT's usually the least frustrating!
lookup entitled people, it will amaze you to what lengths some people will go
even to take over others' property.

Yes! Some people specialize in that. They know how to work the system and legally "steal."

True. I meant people in general. If aliens surveyed the universe looking for a species that deserves their help, humans would not make it to their list.
As said by Carl Sagan (?), we have been visited by aliens from other galaxies but they didn’t find intelligent life and left for home.

Bumper sticker: "Beam me up, Scotty, there's no intelligent life here."

It’s a different world today. Thank goodness there are still a lot of good, common sense, people still in it.
I concur . . . .I just wish that some of them were politicians.

Not all disabled or handicapped people demand special treatment. I am disabled but wait my turn and do not go before others.
The thing is, many people on line would have let the person in the wheelchair or the guy with one item go ahead, but such boorish behavior turns people off.
Maybe these rude behaviors stand out because they’re not the norm. At least I’d like to think that’s the case.😳

Unfortunately, yelling at employees is becoming the new national sport.
Cashiers and department store employees must be born with 'iron skin"
to put up with some of the customers that they have to "serve" everyday.
Many cashiers and store employees are paid just the minimum wages that
their state will allow by law.
The same thing goes for waiters and waitresses. People that refuse to leave
an adequate [tip] for their servers, don't understand that many restaurants
make the staffers (share) their tips with the dish washers, cashiers, and the
bus boys.
There was a time when some larger, restaurants required the waitress to fill up
the salt and pepper shakers, creamers, and sugar bowls after they
[clock out] of their shift. That always seemed like a rip off to the employee.
Restaurants owners were, sometimes, opportunists and took advantage servers.

Two incidents from yesterday. A woman customer in Job Lot cut into the line at the register because she was in a wheelchair. She said that because she was disabled, she was entitled to do that. When the store disagreed, she called the police. The police agreed with the store.
An old man with a can shoved a teenager out of the way to cut in line. A store employee called the teenager to another register. The old man got furious. "I'm old, and I have a cane. You should wait on me first."
In case you haven't noticed, people are horrible.
Happy Thanksgiving. I'm so glad it will be just my son and me eating dinner - no fighting.
