Pg 26 - Another stunning series of images, Steve. I assume captured
on a good camera and transferred to a cell phone, correct?

Love the "Light balls".I've always wanted to give the "burning steel wool" a try.
"Burning steel wool?" OK, now I am really starting to feel old....
What do you mean by that, Pat?

Tim, thanks so much for participating and commenting. So many super images have been posted - including many of yours. Keep on experimenting and trying new things!
Thanks so much, Pat. As you know, I've been kind of pre-occupied with
other matters and just haven't had the desire or incentive to get out
and about with my camera. And, truthfully, with winter around the corner
(unless you got hammered with the recent lake effect snow), I'm not
sure when I'll get motivated again, although challenges like this help.

And THAT, my man, is exactly how one learns - by analyzing what they did and what they would try next time. Crowded or not, a tripod is a must for fireworks. I always get to the place early and scope out a spot.
"Always get to the place early..." Not sure how you'd do that at Disney World,
but I totally understand what you are saying.

Some long exposure skies. The wind was blowing in #2 and the orange glow is the light from the hydro dame a couple miles away.
Stunning nighttime photography, Pat. All great images, but really love #2!

That was at Jamestown, right? I took almost that exact same shot! It was fun to do. I kept trying until I got the flash from the end of the gun.
You are absolutely correct; Jamestown it was. If I would have had my camera
instead of my stupid cell phone, I guarantee I wouldn't have left before getting
exactly the shot you mentioned.
I had an old flintlock pistol years ago, and had a friend shoot it while I took
pictures. Managed to get the smoke, flash and the white wadding! Unfortunately,
I didn't get those pics in the divorce...lol

Some or most of these I may have posted before but they were some of my favorites from a Canadian trip before CoVid.
The first, the train car, was taken at a train museum in Illinois. I just wanted to get some of the better Canadian shots in one group. Hope you like them!!
Excellent, each and every one, but that train shot is absolutely compelling! Love it!

Thank you to all who participated and looked. Maybe you tried something new, maybe you were inspired to try something new or revive something you tried before. Larry will likely be along before too long for Free Sunday. My parting water shots. Only #1 was with my DSLR. The others were iPhone "Live" long exposures and fooled with on a phone app and/or Lightroom
Pat, I like the iPhone images, but that first image blows me away. I don't
know why, but it reminded me of something I'd see in a magical place,
you know, like Fantasyland or something along those lines...almost
whimsical...but gorgeous!

A Maine Finale
Quite the finale, Pat. Challenge wouldn't have been
complete without a Maine Lite!
