Congratulations on making me homesick.
I use to live in Durango.
It's beautiful country.
I'm jealous! I had to drive nearly 4 hours just to get to Durango. That Million Dollar Highway (550) out of Durango is just a spectacular drive this time of year.

Excellent series.
I like the shots of the Aspen and your Milky Way shot is fantastic.
Well done.
Thanks. The Milky Way shot was taken just south of Telluride. The mountain to the left of the Milky Way is San Bernardo Mountain. If I had it to do over I'd have framed it a little differently to include Sunshine Mountain, which is just out of frame on the right. It's a bigger, snow capped peak that would have looked good in the picture I think.
On your last photo, may I ask about the particulars such as iso, f stop, shutter speed or bulb? Thanks.

This weekend I drove (from New Mexico) to Durango, Ouray and Telluride specifically to try and get some Fall color shots. The only issue I had was that every half mile I saw something I had to photograph! Luckily I was alone (else my wife would have been complaining at all my stops). This is a trip I'd been planning for over a year - I wanted to get the fall colors at or near peak in this area. Here are a few examples.
Great captures of a beautiful area!

Sure. It was shot with a Canon 5D Mark IV with a 24-105mm lens set to 24mm and f/4 (as wide as it goes). ISO was a little higher than I usually shoot at 4000 (vs 3200 if I'm shooting at f2.8). For that Camera / lens combo, PhotoPills per NPF rule said abut 12 seconds max exposure to avoide star trails, but the 500 rule suggested 21 secs. I decided to split the difference and made a series of 25 exposures of 16 secs each, plus two dark frame exposure at 16 secs each (with lens cap on).
I then used StarryLandscape Stacker program to stack all the images (to reduce noise).
Oh, and I had the White balance set to use Kelvin at 3900K but I adjusted it a little in post.
