Heavy metal is deeply appreciated "down under." We appreciate it "up" here also! Superchargers add nice touches. Get your motor running. Head out on the highway!

Thanks for your comments david.

Out of all those cars, the 48 Coup is the most intriguing. I love to see more views of that custom design. Anyone recognize what car the builder started with?

Unfortunately I only got the one image of that car - not sure why because I captured multiple photos of many others in the parade but there was a lot going on - the sight, sound and smell of nitrous fuel fumes tended to overload the senses. That is my excuse anyway.

Note my post on page four for a little more information.

Now this is ATTITUDE. The car is still king in some places and memories abound.

great set. Thanks for posting. And I'm certain these folks aren't worried about the cost of gas.

Thanks for looking mr spock. Considering the cost of building and maintaining some of those cars, I am not sure that the cost of fuel is of major concern.

Love the 48 coupe. Judging from the rear tires it is not stock. :)

Thorny, I like to think of myself as a pretty knowledgable car guy. But I have no idea what that '48 coupe is. It is gorgeous...the color, the stance...I love it. Do you happen to have any other shots of it? I'm highly intrigued by it. "A 48-215 with an FJ grill". All Greek to me...please enlighten me. I'd appreciate it greatly.

Thanks for looking Ava's Papa. Please note my post on page 4 with some additional information which I hope will help. Regards, Richard.

I, too, am not familiar with the 48-FJ nomenclature, but that is a really cool custom! You Aussies share a lot in common with us gearheads in the USA and obviously go with the matra that "Too much is never enough" when it comes to powering our vehicles! Great set and would like to see more photos taken at this event.

Thanks for your encouraging comments FL. Please note my post on page four which may help to translate. Regards, Richard.

Thanks for the thumbs ORD. If you are referring to the "48 COUP" it started life as a 1948 Holden. Please note my post on page four for more information. Cheers, Richard.
