Interesting that Putin put in command the same one who failed in Afghanistan.
Way to go.

Do you really claim that this bridge is/was not a valuable military asset for Putin? We don't know who blew up the bridge, but what do you expect the Ukrainians to do?

It’s going to keep escalating, the question what do u expect Putin to eventually do.
Let’s not forget he is allied with China. It’s who is behind this war it’s our proxy war with Russia.

The damage to the bridge was more psychological than operational .

OK, your position is to always succumb to terrorism. That's legal, but it sure puts the lie to your frequent displays of machismo.

You usually know more about these things than I do, so I'll not argue with you, but that sure isn't my reading. You may have information that I don't, but you haven't said so.

Why this "proxy" war is so important is simple. If Putin had been able to take over all of Ukraine, it would have put his troops at the doorstep of Nato nations, and his stated goal was to re-take some of those old Soviet satellite countries that have now freed themsleves from Russia's control. Ukraine prevents that. Talk about reigniting the cold war. Ukraine has served as a significant buffer between Russian and the West.

It’s my understanding the bridge is already back in operation

OK always is a tricky word that I shouldn't have used, but only because almost anything containing the word always is likely to be not true.

Seems like to me we instigated this confrontation by encroaching on Russian territory.
Russia did nothing to us.
I was raised to finish a fight never start one.

I have a life and things to do. If time permits I will look up past articles of warnings from Putin.
In the meantime if you have any free time please feel free. This war is unnecessary and could have completely
been avoided. Now we are on the brink of WWIII a nuclear exchange for what. Yes we did get that Russian puppet out of the WH now didn't we.
