Here is my current favorite trail cam spot and also the most inaccessible; when I went out Monday to check on the camera and to search for a (nonexistent) shortcut, I wondered what HAD I been thinking. But the views were worth the effort, and I got some nice wildlife videos with no random hikers.
The scenery photos, as well as one of a spent puffball I threw in for entertainment, were taken with my phone; hauling a camera is too much on such a scramble. I hope you enjoy these.
Once again I must say your photos are a real treat! Coatamundis are among my favorites. Your deer photos are also amazing! One day we will try to get Southwest New Mexico photos. When in Portal we were in NM to a Museum and outdoors I did get a video of a wild juvenile Gila Monster. My 1st sight of one. It had strayed into the museum outdoor exhibit.
I wish more of those with trail cameras would show theirs. I am still working with Final Cut Pro to show mine. Have a difficult time trying to get someone to help me to learn. I have about ready to publish it, hopefully for YouTube.
Went to Portal, AZ with 7 trail cameras and came back with 3. It rained heavy and storms took away 3 and one more is still there. The one I can't remember where it is. If you or anyone else wants a camera I can tell you roughly where it is! I would like the memory card. (Also, the camera but if you can find it it would be like finding the treasure of Superstition Mountain. It is there! And if you are interested send me your info I promise never to share your ID as I also appreciate your not telling mine.)
