Kodachrome 200 I said.

Are you sure the question was about photographic film and not film as a synonym for movie?

I always liked the colors from Kodachrome 25. 64 was good also. For film negatives I used Kodacolor ASA100. A friend preferred the Fuji equivalent but I thought the Kodacolor had truer colors.

Yes, The Voyage Home was my favorite Star Trek movie. Kind of made you think that maybe the human species is not the most intelligent in the universe, or even on this planet.

Let’s face facts. Sometimes the grass and the stones are smarter than us rocket surgeons.

That was my "go-to" until digital cameras.

Pretty slow stuff. (The old 35 mm slides, don't seem to bleed or deteriorate since the 60's).
Just lucky, I guess.

They give us those nice bright colors. They give us the greens of summers. Makes you think all the world's a sunny day. Mama don't take my Kodachrome away.

Mid 1960's my go to film for action shots was Tri-X pushed to ASA 1600 with Diafine developer, which seemed to make it less grainy than Plus-X. Later on shooting color I used Fuji 800.
